Professional Cycle Mechanics at your Door

Dream Cycling Club

Dream Mechanics' very own cycling club - and you can join too!

Dream CC is a brand new cycling club, based in the Bath and Bristol area. It was launched for the 2007-8 Cyclo-Cross season, with some striking kit and an underlying determination to put enjoyment ahead of all else.

The club is open to all and with club rides planned for the SW, this could well be the club for you. Whatever your chosen branch of the sport, you'll get a warm welcome, not to mention access to some of the coolest kit around.

Contact Craig Denning (see Contact page) for an informal chat if you fancy getting involved.

Dream CC Newsletter (from Club Sec. Craig Denning)

Hope you've all had a good winter whether racing, training or just resting. The team has had a successful Cyclo Cross season, David Collyer won the Western Vet Series, Phil Ingham came 11th in the highly competitive Yorkshire Vet Series, Ian Daws raced the Senior National Champs and finished 5th overall in the Western series and Craig Denning, despite being dogged with illness, finished 2nd in the Western Senior Series. We had several wins and good press regionally and nationally.

A new year is now upon us and the team is getting bigger and better, with the hope that a couple of new sponsors will help the team to grow. Also, to help with this there will be an annual membership of £15, payable to 'Dream CC', sent to 16 Sunnymead, Keynsham, N.E.Somerset, BS31 1JD.

A couple of tweaks to the kit are needed to accommodate new sponsors. Once this is done, we will be putting an order in. Can you therefore let Craig know what kit you require asap. Garments and sizing are on www.impsport.com I would like to get socks and riding caps made up which both have a minimum order, so let me know if you are interested.

If you have any friends or know anyone who wants to join, just pass them on to Craig, (Club Secretary) or David Collyer (Assistant Secretary and Press Officer). We welcome anyone, of any ability. The main objective of the team is to have fun and enjoy our cycling. We will be riding several Sportives competing in many disciplines.

This page will be updated fairly regularly and weekly/monthly updates will be sent via email. Please send all contributions to Craig and please advise hime which is your preferred email address.

Finally a big thankyou everyone that has supported the team this winter and especially Darran at Smiths Jewellers of Keynsham.

Here are a few shots of the team in action.....
